 Memories of Faye Wolf
"I remember Faye and her sister Annette from the USO and just seeing them uptown in Sanford. I was in the Navy, just turned 18 yrs old, and use to visit the USO quite often. I also enjoyed Touchton's Drug Store and being downtown in Sanford. Another girl I remember is Betty Crow. I think she was in school at SHS. Sanford was a wonderful town for a young man to be station in. I had not reach the "adult" age of 21 at that time so booze was pretty much out. I'm not sure if Wolf was spelled with an e on the end of the name. Faye was blond and Annette was brunette. Their Dad worked at the base."-- William Culver
